“We had a smiling face greet us at check in. We needed an extra pillow and towels and they promptly got them for us with a smile. The room was extremely clean. There is fresh coffee and hot breakfast each morning We were once again greeted with a smile and asked for feedback good or bad at checkout. If in the area would stay again. ”

“Connie stood out not only a person that takes their job seriously and performs it well but is also a people person. She saw in our faces that something was off and she took the time to ensure my family was okay. She uplifted our spirits and because of her, when we return to Lynchburg, we will be staying at this location.”

“There was a nice breakfast buffet but food items that were supposed to be warm were not warm. There doesn't appear to be sufficient heating apparatus to keep warm items warm. The hotel appeared to have a large number of children as guests. The room above me was occupied by children running and jumping throughout my stay which was unfortunate.”

“Everything was fabulous but what really stood out is that it was the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel has a notice in the elevator about quiet hours being 10-7 and anyone under 18 needs to be with an adult if outside their room during these hours. ”

“Great as usual. Pet policy is great. One thing we noticed was the changeover to tile floors which the dog did not like, but he does not get a vote. Mostly because he is a dog ”

“Decent hotel with exceptional friendly service. Rooms are large and clean. Don't expect the Marriott. I have stayed here multiple times, I love that it's dog-friendly, staff is always so very welcoming. Breakfast is nothing to shout about... but there's coffee and juice and toast and a waffle machine. Eggs are powdered... Overall, a stellar deal for those staying in Altavista. ”

“Easy check-in and room was ready. Room was clean, comfortable, and the mini-kitchen is nice. Breakfast options were extremely poor (I would rate it 1 star-worse options I have ever seen) and the staff was so loud. It's early in the am, I don't want to hear about your work/life, etc. It's probably because the breakfast space is right in the entrance and is small and cramped. Overall good and I would stay again.”
