“Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. ”

“We have been going to The Imperial for over 20 years and seen many changes. Its an old building but well kept and comfortable. The grounds are well kept but will never be "beautiful".

“On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....
“We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is very attentive and hardworking. They did their best to accomodate our requests.
The breakfast was good and has a few options.
It is very close to the beach and centre ans also has parking available. ”

“This was our first stay at this hotel, the location was lovely and extremely close to the sandy beach. Our room was comfortable with a sea view and the food was excellent, including a family celebration lunch there. It also has access to a nearby sea ferry, and connecting tractor, which takes you to nearby Salcombe. The hotel has its own car park which was really helpful.”
