Hotel a Lohrville

“It was what you would expect from a hotel 8 in the middle of no where iowa. Breakfast was basic. Everything was fine”

“Helpful staff. Clean bathroom! But … the smell in room 110 was first of an air freshener that was too powerful. I took the plug in out of the outlet and then the smell was musty and damp and a smell of wet dog.”

“Stayed at this location before about 7 years ago. It has NOT been kept up. It appeared lots of things were “under maintenance ” but we were bummed that the hot tub was drained and taped off. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the room was very humid even with AC running. We got down to breakfast buffet at 8:30 and eggs were gone with not much for options.”

“Nice and clean rooms. Restaurant and bar on site but closed on the early side. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful.”

“Hot tub was not hot, pool warmer. Sauna not functioning. Breakfast disappointing.”

“Fleas! I was there an hour. I was covered in flea bites. I just wanted a couple days to rest before I have a baby. The manager was hostile. He did not issue a refund, even though I checked out almost immediately. One of the staff was concerned about my staying there because it’s such an unsafe motel. They were talking about how to keep people breaking into my room to hurt me. A dog was barking loudly… I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in this place for more than an hour.”

“Room was incredibly musty to the point where we left in the middle of the night”

“Room 111 smelled terrible! There were Damp Rid bags hanging in the room, so I'm guessing it was unmitigated water damage? I won't stay here again.”

“Thee wasn’t a coffee maker in the room when we’ve arrived. The reception person was very accommodating and provided us with one.”
