“This property was just ok. I booked after reading some good reviews. I did not think this place was as good as what the reviews said. They welcome pets, and there is no charge. That is really the best part. However, it seemed as if people were iso g the place as an extended stay as a grill was outside one of the rooms. Also, nighttime noise was an issue. “The on-site customer service was non existent. Our room was disgusting. We couldn’t check in until late the first night, and had been driving for 12 hours so we stayed anyway because with Mardi Gras, other hotels were booked up. “This was the dirtiest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We asked to switch rooms because I found hair, debris and a mini flashlight in the bed upon arrival. When we switched rooms we were moved to a room with huge black stains on the carpet, food in the fridge and a delightful smell of smoke and urine. The elevator was broken so we took the stairs and no one cleaned up the vomit in the stairwell for over 24hrs. We also found pills on the floor, and one in the bed (in the new room).
