“On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. We couldn’t boil kettle Mon morning as electric went off...

“From check in to check out the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. In fact, from when you pull into the car park you get the feeling it’s a special place. “Great hotel. The location is fantastic, the staff go above and beyond. A favourite spot for a getaway with opportunity to walk, visit High Force waterfall, have a drink in the cosy bar and dine in the elegant dining room. Breakfast was great - the food is obviously local and fresh.”

“Il pub é bello e la struttura pulita.e ordinata. Si percepisce amore e cura. Il cibo é ottimo l, in particolare il Sunday roast. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili, oltre che sorridenti e simpatici. Per le nostre abitudini il letto della stanza in cui eravamo era un po' piccolo ma comodo. Le dimensioni della stanza piuttosto ridotte ma c'è tutto quello che serve. Ottima dotazione di asciugamani e cuscini. ”
