Buona base per scoprire le Mauritius
Quando il taxi ci ha lasciato all'entrata abbiamo titubato, ma appena entrati ci ha accolto subito il personale molto cordiale, disponibile e premuroso. Durante il soggiorno abbiamo potuto notare che il motel esternamente si presenta come uno degli edifici migliori della mainstreet di Mahebourg e anche internamente risulta adeguato, con ambienti e camere tutto sommato curate. Sono molti i servizi offerti (navetta, noleggio auto, cena su prenotazione, stampa dei biglietti,..) dal personale che si é rivelato il punto forte della struttura. Buona base per scoprire le Mauritius!

Albergo con tutto ciò che serve
L'albergo è in una città strategica per poter visitare le bellezze dell'isola. Le camere e il resto della struttura sono molto semplici ma offrono tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno. C è la possibilità di cenare all'interno della guest house ad un prezzo abordabile. Inoltre c è la possibilità di noleggiare l'auto direttamente in albergo con comodità assoluta. I gestori sono molto disponibili, cordiali e corretti.

Solo qualche piccolo appunto...
Il personale dell'albergo è gentile, anche se non sono riusciti ad aiutarci a trovare due biciclette in affitto. La colazione "a buffet" consiste in una baguette con un pò di marmellata e di margarina, the caffè o latte. C'è una moschea proprio attaccata all'hotel che con i suoi altoparlanti vi sveglierà intorno alle 5 di mattina. C'è una connessione internet su un pc accessibile a tutti, mentre la connessione wi-fi al momento del mio soggiorno non funzionava. La chiusura serale è alle h 23, ci hanno assicurato che suonando ci avrebbero aperto anche più tardi, ma tanto alle h 22 a Mahebourg è praticamente tutto chiuso. E' l'ideale per chi vuole fare "vita da spiaggia" o per chi vuole svegliarsi presto e partire per escursioni.

Hotel buono per il rapporto qualità-prezzo e soprattutto da utilizzare in caso di transito dall'aeroporto, in caso di alloggio per vacanze vi occorre sicuramente una macchina da noleggio.

Simple and super friendly!
I stayed here for 2 nights straight after arriving in Mauritius, mainly as I couldn’t be bothered with long/expensive transfers to the far side of the island - but also so I could experience “real” Mauritius too (rather than just the tourist resorts). ONS is in the perfect place within Mahebourg, which is very easy to reach by bus from the airport. There’s not lots to do, but you can fill a day for sure. The motel is simple, clean, comfy, friendly and quiet (apart from the nearby mosque prayers!), with wifi and a very basic breakfast thrown into the great value price too. However, by far the best thing about my experience of the place was then using Beelal as a driver for tours for 2 days. He was friendly, very laid back, charged very reasonable rates for each day (with the itinerary completely customisable as I wished) and generally helped make the start of my trip very enjoyable. So long as you are sensible in your expectations about ONS Motel (i.e. it’s not a 5-star resort with an infinity pool… but then the price reflects that!), if you want to stay in Mahebourg and/or use this place as a base for exploring further, I’d thoroughly recommend it! Keep up the good work Beelal!!

Good Value For The Price Paid
Located right in centre of Mahebourg, within very short walking distance from shopping/market, restuarants and all the attractions. Was easy to find, although only street parking is available. Very friendly and helpful service with efficient check in/out, note the motel involves climbing stairs to the third floor or using a tiny and very slow elevator with manual doors. Clean and decent sized room. However the only amenties provided were two bath towels, 2 small bars of soap and a jug of water. No face/hand towels or shampoo, conditioner, etc. Breakfast consisted of a small fruit bowl, a large bun or piece of baguette, some jam, cheese, a glass of juice and tea/coffee, nothing more. Still based on the price paid couldn't have expected much more. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The rooms are clean and a decent size, although with glass walled bathrooms you'd better be pretty familiar with the people you're sharing with. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel in general has a nice atmosphere, and is situated well for exploring Mahebourg. The rooms could do with a bit of updating; for instance the mattress was uncomfortably lumpy and in dire need of replacement, and one of the bedside lamps flickered like it was auditioning for a horror film.

Das Motel ist vom Preis-Leistungsverhältniss Top. Sehr sauber. Die Umgebung rund herum ist eher indisch ;) Der Gastgeber war sehr nett. Das einzige negative war, das es keine Decke gab, nur ein dünnes Leintuch.

FAB MOTEL SITUATED IN THE HEART OF MAURITIAN LIFE
Greeted at the airport by a family member, my stay was perfect from the start. The family who own and run this establishment are delightful. I was only staying one night In Transit to Reunion, but I was given advice on where to eat etc. The guest house was SPOTLESS, and breakfast with fresh pineapple etc was a good start to the day. Mahebourg itself is a lively town just a few minutes from Blue Bay. If you want to see TRUE Mauritian life rather than gated holiday complexes then this is the place for you. The colour and vitality will leave a lasting impression on you.

Our stay here could not have been any better. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the location was absolutely perfect! Close to the airport, and in the centre of the town. A short walk to everything you might need. The staff were amazing, and Ibrahim went out of his way to make our stay memorable. From organising airport transfers, to restaurant recommendations, and organising a private car and driver to take us to the most beautiful spots on the island. We got a really great package deal, and also great rates with the activities we did. Honestly could not have asked for more, or been any happier. Thank you so much!

This hotel is well located and easy to find. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and with a very good shower. Run by a very helpful family. I would definitely stay here again if returning to Mahebourg.

hôtel très bien situé.Station de bus tout proche et plage de blue Bay à 10min de bus.Des restaurants de qualité accessibles à pied(par ex "les copains d 'abord" ou on mange du très bon poisson avec du vin...Et par dessus tout la gentillesse,le sourire et la compétence de Mr BILAL toujours là quand on le sollicite.Je suis resté 6 nuits mais je serai bien resté un peu plus.

Really bad location
We ended up not staying here because the location was so bad. It is in tje middle of a very run down, noisy and scary-looking area so we told the taxi driver to keep driving.

Dear sir, We are unhappy to read this review. You had a booking for 1 night at our place and haven’t check in so you don’t get refund that’s normal this is the procedure. Please note our location is the best one in Mahebourg we are on the main street strategically situated on the heart of the town. Scary looking area? I’am sure that you made a mistake of saying that as Mahebourg is a lovely small village and people are very friendly and calm. I will propose you to stay at our place at list once so you can change your mind on our beautiful island.
