“At check in I was told my expedia reservation had been cancelled. Not true at all. I had to check in with a pre-autorization as new guest. But once the issue got solved, the concierge and all personnel was very polite and caring, calling me by my name. On my departure day (late evening) I was given a room to take a shower (free of charge). The hotel is a standard African aged, well preserved good hotel. But polite service and excuses make the difference !”

“I have been there many times and I haven’t seen many changes over the years. I think they should propose new options for dinner. The real plus: the bed mattress is very comfortable.”

“Room was basic. Had to ask to get a second towel. Asked or an iron, was told THE iron they have wasn't working. Bar staff used the age-old excuse of not having change, to self tip.”

Vivian the front manager is an amazing manager and goes the extra mile to help clients and is always smiling and happy to help. The staff are well trained and the security is excellent. Issues with rooms are resolved promptly. Rooms are cleaned daily and the food in the restaurant is amazing. This is the best hotel in douala for those who need a good European standard hotel with amazing comfort...

“Good location, but low service quality (especially reception). They never answer the msg through Hotels. You have to call them for shuttle and other requests. It is acceptable for Cameroon.”

“Établissement bien situé pour tout déplacement. Vue extérieur pas très beau à voir. Établissement dont le ménage est fait tous les jours mais trop de cafards, peut-être dû à la saleté de douala. Pas de service voiture entre la résidence et l aéroport ni de taxi surtout quand vous avez un vol à 6h du matin, utiliser l application YANGO pour vos déplacements entre 23h et 7h du matin .”

“Bien que ce fût un court séjour, mon expérience à l'hôtel a été tout simplement exceptionnelle. Le service impeccable, le personnel chaleureux et attentionné, et les installations étaient à la hauteur de mes attentes. “Great apartment: Roomy, clean ,attentitive staff and great location. The only area that could use some improvement is on the connection between G&G and Expedia. It took a while for my reservation to be found.”
