“Super location steps from train station. Cozy and nice room. Best air conditioner in England! Superb private bathroom with great shower and lots of hot water. Nuce tea and coffee selection in our room. The staff are super friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was absolutely Amazing! Again the best we have had in England. Will take care of your bags pre check in whilst you go tour the Cathedral. Over all i rate this a perfect choice and would highly recommend. Cheers ”

“Nella immediata periferia di Bath sorge il Bailbrook Lodge hotel, da non confondere con l'omonimo House a 40 yards di distanza. Ambienti mantenuti magnificamente , personale cortese e disponibile, pulizia ottima, colazione superba, nella miglior tradizione inglese, anche la coppetta di champagne non guasta. Insomma, un posto da rivisitare quanto prima. Bravi. ”

“Service was very good, I was welcomed by the owner and made to feel welcome. I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). Plenty of parking available. The room itself was comfortable. Bathroom functional although if I was being overly critical I would say it could benefit from a bit of an update. Only stayed for one night but they left a good...

“My husband and I, with our 3yr old had such a lovely stay at Widbrook Barns. It's peaceful and cosy with a lovely big garden to run around in. Superb host and great range of breakfast options. We'll be staying again when we're up in the area.”

“Excellent old manor. We stayed in Mrs Smith's room. Which used to be the owners room. Plenty of space, large bay window overlooking the garden and old church behind the property. Clean and welcoming. Bathroom was large and clean with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in my life. A must try for any yankee visiting from the US. Eggs are much better in England than the US. Staff was quite welcoming and friendly. There are a couple of walking trails...

“The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No.”

“Definitely a convenient place with history. Richard was very entertaining and informative. The walking trail by the canals was special and provided an easy path to The Baths and downtown. Exceptional!!”

“Great service and very nice room. Dinner was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. The only downside (and it was quite a downside) is that our room was above the kitchen and the door was on an automatic closer which meant it slammed every time it shut. And this started at about 7.00 in the morning....”
