“We went to Europe for 4 weeks and stayed at at least 8 places, this was the best room we had the entire time. So much space, you felt like you were in someone’s guest room it was so cozy and had a beautiful bathtub and shower. The grounds were lovely and so was the food. I’d go back just to stay here for a beautiful weekend. Highly recommend.”

“The room 214 was beautiful but unfortunately next to the kitchen extractor vent which kept going all night very loud The staff said it couldn’t be turned off It would stop for 10 minutes then start off again It needs to be addressed If not in that room it would all have been fine”

“We stayed for the 2nd time. It's a perfect location for us and we like this place. Staff is very nice, place is clean and has got everything you need. Shame they don't serve breakfast. Has got a massive parking, also there is a kebab outside so if you are hungry it's perfect to buy food. Unfortunately, this time we had a family with a baby next to our room, that kept us awake 2 nights in the row. I am not used to it anymore, as my daughter is 16 years old. “Lovely little cottage, staff were very welcoming and helpful. Cottage was spotlessly clean and full English was yummy. We ate in the pub several times and the food was very tasty.”

“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“We thought the room was not worth the price. It was a bit shabby and lacked the extras with a room that price. Early evening we saw two rats outside on our patio. There was a lack of staff at certain times and this was communicated to us when asking for breakfast. The bar and gardens were lovely, they were very helpful with our food choices but the Sticky toffee pudding was not to a good standard.”
