“I booked this place even though it was a little dearer than Waiheke Resort next door, because the other place had a few bad reviews about check-in only being open between 2-4pm etc, and the bar was closed early etc. So we rocked up at nearly 4pm to check in, and wow it’s the same place!! ”

“Hi there, the overall stay was just okay. We did not get the room we booked, we waited ages to see reception when checking in, though the front of house was nice. The breakfast buffet was alright however the restaurant manager from Friday and Saturday gave us weird looks and was not hospitable. On Sunday it was different staff for breakfast , they were talking loudly amongst each other where we would have preferred less noise. “Unusual communication from the start. Booked through expedia, host was listed as Mei but actually a third party company made contact AFTER the free cancellation period asking for a large deposit. This was highly Unusual but I did my due diligence and they were a real company. On checkout it was confirmed I'd receive my deposit but it has taken well over a month to finally receive the funds.
