There were issues with check in. I arrived after hours with guidence to retrieve a key. The key was not left out and I was not able to get into the room. A partial resolution with a refund of that nights stay and cover for the additional cost of the room. I was not out of pocket for my stay.
I was not happy with the handling of the issue and I felt the difficulty and tiredness I experienced that evening and the following day was not apprieciated or compensated for. I felt a further discount on the stay was warrented. The managers did not agree.
The room itself was as I expected for the cost. There is some mould in the shower and the fixtures are cheap.
The onsite staff we pleasent and were apologetic for the difficulty. The gave me a bottle of wine as an apology.
Email and phone communication with the property manager was less ideal. I felt dismissed and under valued as I had booked through Expedia.
