Hotel vicino a Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area - Gatlinburg

“We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend.”

“I loved the parking and the quaintness. The value for the money was definitely worth it. The room was very clean. The check in was seamless and I like that it is privately owned by a family. The downside is when I arrived the TV was on loud, I thought maybe housekeeping kept it on while cleaning but once I got completely moved in and settled I turned the TV off only to hear the screeching AC unit. I could have complained or asked to be moved but I’m disabled and the last thing I wanted to do...

“Motel carino in una bella zone, purtroppo però il bagno era datatissimo con doccia vecchia e nessun tappo per la vasca. Dopo entrati pa camera non è stata rifatta, quindi oltretutto niente caffè per la macchina, impossibile trovare qualcuno alla mattina per chiedere. Piscina carina ma qualcuno dovrebbe ogni tanto togliere insetti”

“Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug.”

“Overall, my stay was average. The hotel is in a quiet location and conveniently close to everything, which was a big plus. However, the bed sheets had some noticeable stains, which was disappointing and made the room feel less clean. The air conditioning was also set to turn on and off throughout the night, causing the room to become warm and uncomfortable while sleeping. The front desk staff were not very friendly and came across as having an unfriendly attitude, which affected the overall...

“check is at three, arrive at 2.30 was not allowed to sign in. came back at 2.50 several people waiting. guy at counter actually stepped up looks watch at watch waits a couple then started to sigh people. and during sigh in allowed people to sign in before those that had been waiting”

“I absolutely loved this place. It was recently purchased by new owners in the last couple of years I believe. And the improvements have been wonderful. The only thing I didn’t find that could be more up to par, the pool bar is lovely but not stocked as well as it could be with proper ice makers and blenders and it needs fans for the hot days and music. I kept waiting for it to open on the Dunday that I spent the whole day there , but it never did. The out door pavilion with the fire pit...

“It's not the best but not the worst if you need somewhere to just stay a few days it was nice it was downtown gatlinburg. There was only 1 front desk person we had to wait about 40 mins at the front desk just to check in it was very hot and humid and when you called the number "for assistance" it just calls the front desk phone number so that was pointless. Breakfast was good again was like 1 worker doing everything but she kept up with it.”

“No breakfast available at this time. Trash cans in hallway full for days. Key cards had to be reprogrammed daily which was inconvenient. Location was great. Right on the main road in Gatlinburg.”

“You get what you pay for. So my rating is based on the price. The hotel is close to everything which means you can walk to many places. The location is nice. The only bad things I can say is that this is a very used hotel and the wear and tear shows. The latch for the door was scrwed to the door molding and the molding was coming off the wall. My bed blanket had a stain so I went and got another blanket and that one had a stain too, so I just used the sheet. Staff is amazing and properly is well...
