Hotel a Michigantown

“I booked this reservation because I believed we would have a pool to swim in. When we got there we were told the pool was closed for maintenance. I had for a very unhappy grandchildren. Aside from that this day was fine. Suggestion would be to notify people on the website when the pool is not open due to maintenance”

“The room appeared clean, one bed had a army of ants on it We were moved to another. The pool was broken down for weeks I was informed. Entry to the hotel was dark from the highway. There 's a small clinic next door that provided light. The staff was the best did what they could. The indoor pool was my main reason for booking there. I have stayed at many Hiltons this was the worst. False advertising . ”

“It was just ok. Considering the price its fine. The room was not as clean as expected with the good reviews I read on here. There was visible dirt and grime in all of the corners and even a pretzel on the floor. Our room was filled with the smell of pot at one point in the night. Walls were thin. Receptionist tried to charge me for the room even though I had already paid thru Expedia. One positive is that the bed was comfortable. “The staff were wonderful. The room we stayed in was just remodeled and I believe that we were the first ones to stay in it. A lot of the motel is still under renovation, so it is messy from the work, but the new rooms are great. Only complaint is the bed was put on an aluminum platform. I found it quite easy to accidentally kick it when walking up to the bed. Sounds like a gong going off. Startling. Especially when my wife was asleep ”

“We were put in a room accross from frequent users that had a party that was loud, yelling, screaming. Had to call front desk twice. Then outside door opening and slamming at 3:00 am and 5:30 am. Horrible night. Looked like mold growing ceiling above shower. Shady people present. ”

The building is an older establishment and maintaining a hotel in this day and age is a financial challenge, however the staff here are hard working and doing their best to provide a save and comfortable stay. The rooms are very clean and there always seem to be a number of guests staying which is always a good sign. The pool was clean and well maintained. ”
