“Nice place to stay if you're staying in the very quiet town of Queenstown. The room is spacious with a kitchenette and dining table, sofa, and large bed. Parking is right in front of your unit. Oddly, the restaurant is closed on the weekends.”

A delightful room with views over the lake, an amazing picnic lunch left in our room with fresh bread, a pre-dinner drink and canapé and a superb dinner. All this in a spectacularly beautiful location. Thank you.”

“We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. If you are after elegant, refined and well finished accommodation...

Our check in at the front bar was easy and the staff were very friendly. Pub food was nicely done and it was a fantastic location straight across the road from the Wilderness Railway station in Queenstown. Lovely old town with friendly locals.”
