Motel a Midlands

“Very basic accommodation. The curtains need a clean as the room although clean had a dusty smell and set off my dust allergy. Staff are super helpful and very friendly. It is Queenstown and this is probably the best in town.”

“Quick check in, friendly staff, room was ready, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and just a 5 minute walk to the main street and shops.”

“Superb location on the beach. There is a store/couple of restaurants nearby. Lovely staff. There was a fridge, coffee, milk and dishes. I wish the rooms had a bit more soundproofing.”

“We had a sea view twin. Room was small. The hotel has a house rule of no toasters but does have a guest kitchen with toaster, microwave and sandwich maker. The room only has cups. So if you go to the guest kitchen and cook some toast or food you have to stand in the guest kitchen to eat. As the house kitchen rules are you can not remove any item from the kitchen (that would include the plates bowls etc). It would be far better and more convenient for guests to include a toaster and small plates...

“Comfy stay in a lovely old building. Cool cinema room and very hospitable hosts.”

“Property is fantastic - on the older side, but very well maintained. Owner was super helpful. Only downside is the distance from the cruises.”
