“Proper traditional English hotel! Centre of Hartlepool. Reception staff very friendly as were cleaning staff I met. Quiet despite location and easy walking distance to transport networks.”

“The hotel is just in front of the beach, which is good. Unfortunately the hotel is old, the rooms and bathrooms need to be refreshed. I was there in the beginning of June, and the room was humid and I freezed all night long. Not a pleaseant stay.”

Hotels.com is in control of the booking so they were not able to amend or cancel the booking and the customer service reps consistently would refer me back to Premier Inn, which had nothing to do with booking the stay”

“The general condition of the hotel is poor, old, tired and a bit scruffy. The rooms just about fit the bill, but the bathrooms are very small. “Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by. Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for! No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door. Can hear pigeons outside and sounded like something was in the loft. ”

“Basic but clean and comfortable, decent value for the price. Each apartment is 2-bed so kitchen and bathroom are only shared with one other guest room. Was upgraded from single to a double for no extra charge. The people upstairs were up all night but that could happen anywhere.”
