“The hotel was rated highly by others who booked with Expedia; however, this property seemed run down and in need of renovation. The room was spacious; however, the bathroom door was broken, the toilet was loose and/or broken as it would rock back and forth when yoh sat down on the toilet. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off. My wife found toenail clippings on the floor of the bedroom. The toilet would run for about 35 minutes when it was flushed. “My stay was disappointing overall. The hotel had several maintenance and service issues that affected the experience. The elevator was broken, which made it inconvenient to get around the property. Inside the room, the thermostat did not work properly. When I tried to adjust the temperature from 70 to 71 degrees, either the air conditioning would turn on full blast or the heater would turn on full blast. “At the time of my stay they were still remodeling. They have always been clean and staff very respectful and helpful. I am 100% certain when the remodel is finished they will be the best stay in Augusta. Love the view from the patio.”
