Once the beating heart of a busy agricultural estate, today it is an oasis of tranquillity, with carefully conserved original features. The oil mill, roughly placed between the 10th and 11th centuries, located inside caves dug into the typical local soft tuff, which seem to have had a previous life phase and a different function.

On the first floor of Masseria Mammella you will find your accomodations, while the remaining floors are for the use of the owners.
Two indipendent and separate apartments (Casa Francesca and Casa Pietro) that offer you privacy while giving you the opportunity to be stay with the whole group, both inside living rooms and in the wonderful outdoor spaces, as the suggestive “limonaia” gazebo (set in the citrus garden) or by the pool.
Just 3 km from the sea, the position of the farm allows you to easily reach the most important cities and villages in the area: The Trulli of Alberobello, Castellana Grotte, Ostuni, Conversano, Polignano a Mare, La Valle d'Itria with the municipalities of Cisternino. , Locorotondo and Martina Franca, Lecce, Matera.

Connected by a pair of external staircases, the two apartments wrap around and overlook the citrus gardens.
Wherever possible, original architectural features have been maintained, from the curvaceous arched structures and the window apertures, to the niches. The walls and ceilings have been whitewashed, many of the original wooden doors have been salvaged and restored, and the variety of materials used - tuff stone, iron, wood and terracotta - are in-keeping with the property's architectural heritage.
The style is contemporary yet traditional, with solid wood elements, salvaged lamps, bespoke and designer pieces that subtly enhance the overall look.
