“This hotel would’ve been awesome back in the day! It has a very old world European feel with all the opulent dark wood work. We stayed in a suite which was very large with two bathrooms and lots of room to spread out. The breakfast was ok and the condition of the property was dated and worn. They are in the process of renovating the first floor. Once the hotel is fully renovated, it will be a great place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and we rested well. “The room door (which is an outside door) seemed flimsy enough for a 5-year-old to kick it it)…felt unsafe. Beds were lumpy. Carpeting needs replaced, as did the broken toilet seat. ”

“Definitely do not go here no laundry it takes forever to get your cash deposit I had to drive back with diesel being $5 and get $30 cause they said someone would check room in morning and no it was afternoon . Charged almost double for extra day . Never again ”

“The stay here was wonderful quiet and the scene was beautiful me and my family stayed four days there staff was lovely rooms were clean breakfast was served every morning and breakfast was very delicious !! I would recommend family friends if you are traveling to Illinois Rockford please book a room here at econo Lodge .. it was a pleasant stay .”

“We had a mixup with Expedia regarding our reservation and the manager was AMAZING. He refunded our deposit and gave us a room. He also recommended a restaurant which gave us a discount for staying at the hotel. There was an old stain on one of the pillowcases, but we just switched to another pillow, there were so many! We would definitely stay here again.”

“The property was listed as newly renovated, and it certainly was not! Only the flooring looked new. The pictures online do not match what you actually get. Bed very hard and simply one mattress on a metal frame. Doors/locks did not feel secure. Very poorly insulated, we could hear every little noise from other rooms and the road. The first room we went into was so strong cleaning product/chemical smelling that it made eyes water and induced an asthma attack. Second room was stale old smoke...

“Hotel was clean and in central location. Limited amenities like tissues, shampoo/conditioner, no ice makers, and needing to ask front desk for blow dryer. It’s more of an extended stay hotel, however, certain amenities are still expected as a hotel. Walls were thin and you could smell food being cooked from other rooms which wasn’t ideal, however, price was right and it as a great place for a night.”
