Hotel a Mount Calvary

“The front desk staff when we checked in was so helpful and kind. The outside of the hotel was not updated but a wonderful perk is the vintage rose garden outside of the hotel. Absoulutely beautiful varieties of roses from so long ago. They were breath taking. I would return just to view and smell the roses again. Thank you Super 8!”

“Hotel is a fabulous gem. Modern amenities but maintaining the character and history of the hotel. Luggage cart wheels were flat. Might not seem like a big deal until you try to use them! Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Great location.”

“The room smelled like black mold. It didn’t look like or smell like the linen had been changed in months. We couldn’t sleep the 1st night. We went to Walmart to get Fabreze to spray down the bed, bedding, and room in general. When we asked for a clean blanket, we were told blankets weren’t available. We will never stay there again, nor at any Days Inn.”

“The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful! I’ll go back just because she was so sweet. The room was very clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. For what you pay it’s a great deal!”

“I believe the HVAC for the building or another machine was near my bedroom. The noise was coming between the bathroom and bedroom. You could hear it turn on and off and this would not let me sleep and my daughter who was supposed to take her ACT the next morning. When it was on you could hear the noise. Staff was friendly, room was clean and breakfast was fine. But do not stay in room 317 if you want to sleep well. Not sure if the whole building is like this. ”

“I was surprised to find out there was no elevator. Rooms were ok, but are getting tired. Found daddy long legs around the heater. Air conditioning was load and a little confusing to figure out. Breakfast was ok, all the foods, like the eggs, were heared in a bag in a microwave. The. Chopped up and put out for serving. Staff was very nice though and location was very good for EAA”

“This may have been the cleanest hotel I have stayed at. And addition to being clean, it was in good shape--no bashed doorways or worn carpeting. Everything seemed nearly new.”

“My friends and I stayed for a weekend getaway and we were impressed by the decor and how charming the hotel was! The adjoining rooms aren't very big and there is one mini fridge for both rooms but we were able to make it work. The staff was all very nice and their private beach was great.”

“My room was very smelly, but there were windows that opened in my room luckily, or it would have been unbearable. It was a body odor smell, not smoke.”

“My key stopped working and I went to the front desk for a replacement-the clerk just asked my room number, no identification, even my name, and gave me a new key. Did not feel secure”
