“The hotel was beautifully renovated with many original fittings. It is in a great location for shopping and dining, with all the major stores within walking distance. The staff were very nice and replied promptly to some questions I had before check in. I was only there overnight and didn't get up in time for breakfast but the menu looked great. My only very minor negative comment would be that the bed was very creaky. I would definitely stay there again next time I visit Ballarat. ”

“This property is close to a beautiful lake side walk - so location is perfect. The are some Great Lakeside eating places. The bedrooms are spacious, spacious living and dining room and well equipped kitchen. ”

“Breakfast was perfect. Good coffee. Good value as well. Dining was super convenient because of the direct connection between the motel and the Red Lion Hotel next door. I could not get the TV connected to the internet (maybe instructions would help). Otherwise really excellent service, spotless and well maintained venues with genuinely friendly attentive staff. Indoor pool, sauna and games area all excellent. Very impressed with the motel and Red Lion hotel. Thoroughly recommended.”
