Hotel vicino a Museo Beck Cultural Exchange Center - Knoxville

“Im not sure what you are paying for . . . You are on the same street as other 3-4 star hotels. There was nothing that stood out about this hotel. The staff was okay. The room was unique. One irritating thing, there were no clear signs for pricing on the fridge or near the snacks. And I assumed for $500+ a night in knoxville, a bag of chips and a coke would be complimentary. I thought that was part of what you were paying for. Again. Nice hotel. Staff fine. Bed was weird though. And ill also...

“Breakfast was great lots of choices. Walking distance to UTK. Parking was extra on site. Felt very safe. Walked downtown very convenient. However I found a pubic hair on the wall of shower! Also found hair ties in the floor. The heating/cooling unit on wall had a smell when turned on and it was filthy inside. We didn’t use it for this reason. We were exhausted from traveling all day so I let it slide. Would definitely ask for a different room next time.”

“I like that there was a store to buy gifts in lobby. I like that there was a Starbucks in lobby and a restaurant on first floor. What I didn’t like was the Elevator broke down when I was in it with some other people and I got scared but we all were able to get out and told a worker what happened and he was able to bring us to our appropriate floors on his elevator. That night the elevator got fixed and it was fine the next day. All and all I loved the hotel and would stay there again.”

“They asked for a cash deposit when I arrived because they said I live too close to this hotel (1.5 hours away). And would not let me use my card for this. Then I went to take a shower and shower head fell off & broke. Then they processed to tell me it was my fault and I will not receive my cash deposit. It took an hour of me telling them it is not my fault and also them talking to higher up to finally, with reluctance & aggravation, to give my deposit back. They weren’t customer minded and it...

“Nice convenient location. Deign and layout of the property very nice. I was not able to connect to their Internet and the staff could not assist. I have been able to connect to the Internet in two other hotels and a public library during this multi-week road trip.”
