“Property was beautiful. Better than expected. Right in the heart of Salem, so centrally located you’re surrounded by shops, restaurants, and historic buildings and museums.
The hotel itself is amazing. Clean, well decorated, comfortable/cozy. We were in room 7 which is way up stairs but the stairs were fine- no elevator on site. “I checked in for a short, five hour rest late the other night after being diverted to Boston from New York City. The staff who check me in got me checked in very quickly, we’re very friendly and welcoming, and help me understand the timings for getting out the next day on the airport, shuttle early in the morning. My wake up call was on time, the bed was comfortable, and the shower got hot very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again. ”

“We had an excellent room. Great breakfast, and the shuttle to the airport was great and punctual. The suites were also well stocked and great coffee in the room as well. Overall, fantastic and easy stay near Logan Airport in Boston. ”

Having 2 hotels in the same building (homewood & hampton), the breakfast area is just too small and narrow to accommodate many people at the same time. We arrive 30 min before it closes and there are so many people that you can't even grab and go. And food ran out so quickly that the staff can't keep up with. A better design of the area will help with the flow.
