Hotel a Myre Big Island State Park

“Our first room we were put in had a flooded bathroom. The front desk employee was helpful and got us into a new room promptly. The next morning the toilet would not flush in our room. My husband went to front desk to inform of this and was told there is a guest with a plugged toilet causing the plumbing issues and will not let them in so there is nothing they can do. “The hotel rooms had clean bedding and towels, but unfortunately the floors and tubs were very dirty. There was noticeable dust and wrappers under the front of the bed, along with pink mold on the shower walls. It was also not clearly stated anywhere that housekeeping was only provided upon special request. Because of that, I had to repeatedly go to the front desk to get fresh towels, coffee supplies, and have the trash emptied”
