“The hotel itself was great; the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, was pleasantly surprised the floors were not carpeted. My only issue with the property is the lack of honesty with the housekeeping staff. I forgot a portable makeup mirror attached to the bathroom mirror; I did call the hotel to ask them to ship it to me even if it was paid for by myself. According to the head of housekeeping, the mirror was not found; in my opinion, whoever was tasked with cleaning the room took the mirror...

“Everything was excellent except some sticky substance on the floor when we entered the room. Shoes kind of stuck to the floor… could even feel something on the floor with bare feet. Other than that, the room was beautiful and clean”

“I spent 4 nights at this hotel. It was very clean and the staff were excellent and friendly. Great breakfast. I have only 2 complaints, first there is a very strong perfume smell in the hotel, especially in the lobby. My room wasn’t bad. The room also had a window that opened to fresh air. When I came home all of my clothes and suitcases smelled like the hotel. I am extremely sensitive to smells as it affects my lungs. The second is that the pool and hot tub were quite cool, and I only used them...

“Our stay is always the best. The staff go beyond their duties. I consider them family. Such caring and so helpful to my grandson and myself. I won’t stay anywhere else. I feel like a queen when I am there. The rooms are always clean and they help always if we need something. Number One in my books.”

“Toilet did not work properly. Maintenance worker came up and fixed temporarily, but that only worked for 10 minutes. Called again and they gave me a plunger that didn't work. They gave me a 10% discount for my inconvenience for my two days of having to plunge the toilet every time it was flushed and I had to ask for the discount!”

“Attended a weekend conference for model railroad enthusiasts at this hotel. First off they laughed when I said "Where is the lake?" There is no lake to view at this Lakeview Hotel, there is a wee bit of a slough a few blocks away. This hotel is adequate, I guess. Hope the event organizers got a good deal for hosting costs. Hotel audiovisual equipment failed - NFP club had to buy a new projector and borrow portable sound system. I paid $45 for a banquet ticket, should have grabbed a burger...
