“Room was spacious and thoughtfully appointed. Central location was convenient to bus station and farmers market. It did get a bit noisy at times with the close proximity to downtown, but the mynas were the loudest things around. Contactless checkin was smooth and easy. Unfortunately we did not get to eat at Paul's, but it looked delicious. Maybe next time. ”

“Kelly was a wonderful host. Since she had cancellations while we were there (Jan 2026) she upgraded us to the master with ensuite. There are 3 bedrooms in total. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were all kinds of snacks and coffee, tea, milk available. Kelly made lovely breakfast for us each morning and was so accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It is about 30 minutes drive from Hilo. You do need a car. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this B&B. Thank you Kelly and...

“Pros: This is our first time staying at a lodge like this, so close to nature, just like camping. You will hear coqui frog whole night & seeing them jumping next to your door step. Animals free roaming, peacocks, ducks, chicken. Kids loved it. Cons: There is barely any light at night in the Property…so if you come back late, it’s a bit challenging to find your cabin.”
