“A due passi dall'ingresso del Volcano National Park. Sistemazione confortevole, in mezzo alla giungla. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili, ci hanno lasciato una abbondante colazione. Le camere sono accoglienti anche se vista la posizione c'è mota umiditià, ma il posto ricompensa del disagio. ”

“Ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista. Peccato la carenza d'informazione sul check-in. L'indirizzo dato è quello del check-in (altro lodge, non ricordo il nome) mentre la struttura si trova a ca. 1 miglio su un'altra strada.”

“Location ok, walking distance from black sand beach, not too far from the volcano. Is more an hotel apartment vs hotel. No services for breakfast, dinner, food, supermarket is 20min driving, reception close at 5pm We asked for a sea view room, but, we got a room in a very bad position.”

“The staff were friendly and their food at dinner was excellent! Pretty pricey but worth it! Room was located on the second floor which made us seniors very difficult carrying our suitcases up! The twin beds were so tiny and a bit uncomfortable! So we decided to leave after one night of a 4 night stay!”

“The room was amazing. I loved the sounds of the birds and frogs. The garden was beautiful and the property well maintained. Even though they say it’s an old house and you might hear people in other rooms, I did not. I never waited for a bathroom to use either. It was a quiet and peaceful stay just 5 minutes outside the park. It was nice having a full kitchen as well. ”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was so cool. It felt like we were staying in a treehouse in the jungle! The provided breakfast was good along with the other snacks in the common area. Very cool experience!”

“This place is unique, and the huge trees on the property are amazing. You can pick your own fruit and macadamia nuts even, and keep or eat them. The set up of the "common area" is a bit odd, with the main room being part of the hostesses house. The pictures of the beautiful kitchen that I saw in the listing was very misleading, as the kitchen is 100% hands off, guests are not allowed to touch it. Which was really weird and not welcoming, and odd that you can be right next to the hosts personal...

“My family and I loved our stay! Host was very communicative, the property was clean and well taken care of. Good location between things to do on the island. My only suggestion would be to bring ear plugs for the chickens at night . We would 100% stay here again.”

“Rooms are very clean, shower has hot water! The only thing I would add is a kettle to boil water for those who want to have tea at night time”
