“Lovely well maintained older hotel/motel. Great staff, very clean with a bit of character. Despite being a hotel, very quiet and well located next to a small shopping centre with a decent supermarket and a small collection of other shops.
No toaster or microwave, while the room (lower queen room) is compact, it is well suited to a 2 or 3 day stay.
Helpful staff.
Recommended as a good value stay close to Woden and the Canberra Hospital.”
“This is a 'must do'! From arrival to departure it could not be faulted. The zoo is super - lots of activities for kids without having to be looking at animals all the time, plenty of places to sit and enjoy your own snacks without having to purchase everything. And the accommodation is next level...rooms are large and beautifully presented, meals were superb and service was exceptional. Absolutely 5 stars!! ”

The 1 bedroom suite was spacious.
Staff at the front desk were lovely, especially Ash (i meed to mention her).
I think breakfast options at Ostani were limited (in particular, snack options).
The room was clean on entry. But the cleaning during our stay was a bit careless. The bed was poorly .made and bathroom items carlessly placed. These little things matter ”
