“Staffing was great everywhere (lobby, restaurant, fitness center, room cleaning). I stayed for 7 nights. Even when a front desk lady called Chang Gung Golf Club for me, to make it easy for me to golf. The whole atmosphere was great.”

It’s surprising that a five-star property has what feels like a dog kennel element, with noticeable smells in parts of the outdoor recreational area. From what I could see the dogs are there on a pet rental scheme. On our only night there, there were multiple occasions where the pack of dogs began barking, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. “Great location when visiting Banqiao district near Taipei. Right next to subway, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. A bit older hotel that the water in shower will take a few mins to warm up, but with all what you needed and great staff. The breakfast is also amazing. ”

“There is a tiny desk, so if you need to work, it can only fit a laptop. Room is ok for one person for 8 days stay, it would be too much for 2 people for a long stay if you plan to stay in the room a lot ( to work like me).
