Hotel a New Richland

“Great guest services by the staff.”

“When we checked in, we were notified that the internet and cable was out. That was the whole weekend. There is no breakfast like stated. When asked about pool hours I was told the pool was shut down that day and only opens if the person who checks the pool decides to show up to work. The ice machine was broken. The shower water was hot, the bed was comfortable.”

“The coffee was lukewarm and weak. The breakfast room was unprepared when it opened and there were no condiments for the oatmeal. Hotel was much nice under the Carlson label. ”

“Rooms were large, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was normal hotel quality and opened early. Plenty of parking, even with a boat. The hotel was completely full do to a kids baseball tournament. The room we were assigned was next to pool so sleep was optional. The only down side.”

“We booked the room through Expedia, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to cancel our final night's stay. We tried 24+ hours earlier, but were told to do it the next day (as we were leaving). The staff denied our request- we ended up paying for a room we could not use. NOT RIGHT, NOT FAIR! We tried, Expedia tried, crooks!”

“Everything was great except the room smelt like old mop water & had gnats. Room 106. ”

“My room was not cleaned. There was food on the floor along with plastic silverware and hair in the bathroom. The bed was made but had food and blood spots on the sheets. The pillow cases had drool stains on them. they gave me a second room which the floors were not vacuumed and the pillow spelt terrible. The sheets did look clean. The bathroom had strings and hair on the floor. Very disappointed! The outside was not maintained either.”

“This was our first stay at a bed-and-breakfast, it turned out to be great. Our host Brad and Julie were extremely nice very friendly. A room was great. The breakfast was fantastic, far better than you’ll get in any hotel. I would highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast to anybody that is in the Waterville area. I am sure that you will be as pleased as my wife and I were.”

“The evening I checked in I Meg the manager and very nice and welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Only down side was toilet would run occasionally and had to flip handle. Love the lemon water in entry.”

“This wasn't the worst stay I've had, but far from the best experience. The lobby area had coffee and decaf when I checked in but it was cold and not fresh, which was a bit disappointing since the rooms did not have any kind of coffee. The check in process was quick and the staff member was friendly, but wasn't at the desk when I arrived and had nothing to clearly identify her as being a staff member. When I checked out, I had to give my keys to the cleaner. Unfortunately, the fridge in...
