“We went to Europe for 4 weeks and stayed at at least 8 places, this was the best room we had the entire time. So much space, you felt like you were in someone’s guest room it was so cozy and had a beautiful bathtub and shower. The grounds were lovely and so was the food. I’d go back just to stay here for a beautiful weekend. Highly recommend.”

“What a fabulous place to stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pub and the outdoor areas are wonderful the food and drinks plentiful and delicious. We stayed in Bluebell room which had everything you could possibly need including toiletries water tea/coffee iron in fact all you need is your clean undies 😂 added bonus we sat and watched the world cup final outside with a great bunch of people from all over the world. “The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“Plenty of parking, friendly staff, Very clean. Limited menu but excellent quality. Let down by peeling paintwork on exterior giving a neglected appearance. Would benefit from a fridge in the bedroom”

“Lovely lovely old hotel/pub in a charming village. Dear Lord it was so hot when we were there but we hada turbo fan provided. Parking is slightly limited but we always nabbed a space. Everything was clean and the restaurant was great. The best place for miles.”
