Hotel a Newton

“Ac made a terrible noise. Button in elevator broken. Cover for ac controls just fell off in my hand. Remote control for tv didn’t work. Room had an unpleasant smell. Hotel was dated and unkept. ”

“As soon as you enter the building, there is an overwhelming sewer smell. The man at the desk was not at all friendly. I am used to staying at the cheapest motels I can find and don't expect much, but the smell was hard to endure.”

“Will definitely stay here when in the area. ”

“Parking is easy and breakfast is great. The bathroom and rooms overall are a bit dated but still serviceable. Location is very close to all of downtown Newton”

“No elevator was a nuisance Room not very clean and smelled moldy.”

“Staff friendly. We paid for a suite but didn't have a couch as previously when we stayed and paid for a suite. We have sleep issues so get a suite to help with that. Plus my husband wanted to watch NCAA basketball on a couch not the bed!!!! We stayed in February and the swimming pool was closed. It still was closed. Grandkids were looking forward to swim!!!!”

“Nice value hotel. Beware that price does not include a small “destination fee”. Annoying.”

“I found the bed to be inadequate to sleep comfortably. I don't know if it was too soft or the lower metal frame that was flexing like a metal can, but I could not find a comfortable spot and I slept across the top of the bed where the pillows usually are. I did these 2 nights and then left; the staff were nice but the bed was terrible”

“The breakfast was plentiful and good. The room was clean and staff nice. ”

“We were tired from driving; this was the perfect place to rest and wakeup with a great breakfast and fast friendly service.”

“The pictures show a hot tub but there isn’t one, it was apparently removed. I chose this hotel because of hot tub, need to do better with advertising.”
