“Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. Bring your best earplugs. Breakfast is decent, service can be slow. Tiny outdoor pool and two nice hot tubs. Maintenance is hit and miss: rooms...

“We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Geyser Lookout B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome. They live on site and are both very friendly, helpful, and clearly work very hard to ensure every guest has an excellent stay.
Our room was wonderful, with a very large bathroom that felt very spacious. One of the highlights was having our own deck overlooking one of the active geysers at a distance.

“Check in was super easy, but the receptionist was a bit miserable, no welcome or any friendliness.
The shower was dirty, the limescale on the glass was so bad and really showed up once it was steamy in the bathroom. There was a thick layer of dust on the plug sockets in the bedrooms and the 'pool' out the back didn't look very welcoming...
The toilet also had a yellow rim around the edging/grout.
And screws missing from the shelves, made it all looked like it was a rushed job and no care was...
