“We wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were wonderful and the family room had everything we needed for 2 adults and 3 children. The Bistro food was great and they had a good vegetarian dinner selection and offered vegetarian sausages with breakfast. Definitely would stay again. ”

“Lovely hotel. Beautiful setting with an amazing view. The reviews we read before we stayed, said the staff were wonderful and friendly. Reviews often say this about hotels and we were just expecting the usual professional staff. However it must be said the staff were superb, stood out and had a major positive impact on our stay making it so enjoyable. The evening dinner very good. The breakfasts excellent. Definitely a place to stay.”

“The property was in a beautiful setting but the room was considerably smaller than the photos and it wasn’t clear that the downstairs room didn’t have cooking facilities. You could also hear the neighbours above and at the side, and I assume they could hear us.”

“Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. “I stayed 7 nights here, which by the sounds of it, is unusual. I get the impression that people normaly one or two night. Very friendly staff and for the first two days, was reminded to contact them if I needed anything. After the first two days, I didn't see any staff members to ask, but there was a phone number provided to call. The reception area was never manned. “Ample parking at front of property. Staff very welcoming and polite. The room was great with a view of the gardens, which were lovely to walk around. The building had character. The meal in the restaurant was fabulous as was breakfast, and the service excellent. 5 stars. Will definitely stay here if in the area again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😁👍”
