“On the plus side, the hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is pretty decent, and the historic building has charm for sure. However, even though this hotel is historic and affordable, so we didn’t expect the world, there were a few in-room hotel basics that could have made our stay a lot better. “The entire place has a cloying smell that lingers on your clothes and personal things, it makes it very hard to breathe when you have asthma. The heater/air conditioner was really loud and pretty much woke you up every time it kicked on, needless to say you didn't get a whole lot of sleep because every hour to hour and a half you were woken up by the noise. “Every thing we need for our stay was provided. Full size refrigerator which was a great help in storing food and drinks . Room was clean and quiet . Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.”
