“This place was horrible I paid over $300 for a room with a view of the roof (porte coach) that was spaced about 2' from my window and so full of pigeons (who make a lot of noise when they are 3' from your head as you sleep). And when you turn on the window unit for A/C or heat, you get a nice wiff if pigeon poo. When I asked the front desk about it they said they won't remove them because they have babies now (pigeons breed 6 times a year). The bed was so bad when I slept my feet were above...

“The room was clean but it didn't "look" clean because of how much the room was in cosmetic disrepair. I appreciated the size of the room (bedroom separate from living space), large fridge, strong water pressure in the shower. I did not like the fact that there are no blackout curtains in the bedroom (you can see thumbtacks where other guests had already hung up their own, just as we did). Also, there was no housekeeping service during our 3 night stay, so the coffee supplies we used on day...

“I wouldn’t say this is the cleanest best western we stayed at during our 9 days. Some mold in the bathroom, difficult to figure out how to get shower warm. Carpet does not feel clean. So many recliners sitting in corners, multiple paint colors, stuff on the walls and counters makes it feel cluttered.”

“The staff was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the history of the property. My room was clean, there were plenty of towels, and a wonderful bed, with a variety of pillows. The greenbelt and a path to the river made walking my dog very enjoyable.”

“The Bush House is a beautifully renovated facility with old world charm. It is a place for quiet, peaceful experiences that set it apart from the typical vacation stay. It is a unique experience. The staff were exceptionally helpful and gracious. If you are passing through Index, Wa, this is a great stop.”

“Smudges on walls, burn holes in the curtains, very musty smell, grout missing from shower tile with mold growing, very low water pressure, water never got hotter than just a little more than lukewarm and last, but not least what appeared to be blood splatter on the bathroom ceiling.”

“The hotel's maintenance and overall cleanliness were very poor. We found the floors, hallways, and walls to be very dirty. When I asked for our room to be mopped, I couldn't believe how dirty the mop was after they finished cleaning. The room did not have a coffee maker and a hair dryer. The bedspread was torn and of very poor quality. The only positive aspect of our stay was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful.”

“Clean property. Very quiet. Set back off of the main road only negative to say about it would be that the shower curtain had a burn in it and should have been replaced”

“We had an amazing stay! From the moment we checked in until we left, everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options each morning. If I could suggest anything, it would be to have the laundry room available 24/7 and to open the pool a little earlier. Those are just minor suggestions, though, because everything else...

“The breakfast could be improved when I went at 8:15 , they were out every thing, but replenish items. They were also out of coffee,but brought some out.. The pool and hot tub are great. In the morning, I wanted to use the hot tub.It was closed for cleaning or something.. Otherwise, I would say, it's worth going for the pool in the middle of the summer.Nice outdoor pool!”
