“The mattress was terrible, with 2 twin mattresses on a queen frame. There were hard bumps throughout the mattress, making it impossible to find a good comfortable spot. The wallpaper was peeling. The grab bar for the tub is located near the front of the shower, which would have been ok if the toilet wasn’t only inches away from the tub, basically blocking the grab bar.

“Room was modestly clean at best. My room was not refreshed during my stay. Beds were not made and used towels I placed on the floor remained on the floor.
Hotel has outdoor room access.
I was unable to sleep due to several other hotel patrons outside my room talking loudly and carrying on between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM. I was told by staff it was my responsibility to call police to control the situation. I will not stay at another Econo Lodge based on my experience.”

“Our stay didn’t start out the greatest due to the gentleman working the front desk acting like we were bothering him by checking in. He was quick to get us checked in but was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed.

“I’ve been staying in this room for 2 days, and the shower water still isn’t draining properly. The bathroom gets messy, and overall the room is not clean. The receptionist was also not helpful when I raised the issue. On top of that, the room was completely different from what was recommended and shown during booking. The only thing that was working is air conditioning.
Overall Very disappointing experience.”

“The property is right near the beach and within minutes of resturants and shopping. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, one of the best I have ever seen. The property is older and has had some upgrades but is still in need of more updates and repairs. “It was a great stay with one exception. We had an ADA room. The shower floor, which probably was once a very good no-slip surface, was very slippery. If I hadn’t had the safety bars to hold onto the entire time, it could have been interesting. I’m mentioned this at check out. BTW - this isn’t just an issue at this property - it’s happening more and more as we travel. The average hotel could save itself some immense liability issues by simply providing a “Rubbermaid” style mat with suction...
