“I love the pool, and aesthetically, the Ranch Motel is perfect. I have a nostalgic attachment. The beds however are not comfortable, there was no food available during my stay, the bartender told me to door dash. No coffee in the am, no TV in room, or refrigerator. I had to keep getting ice for my medication and if the bar was closed no ice was available. ”

“The food was good. On the weekend they serve hot food: scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages, etc. On weekdays they only have cold foods and waffles. You better get down there earl enough, once the food is gone, even if it is before the quitting time for breakfast, it is gone.”

“It was close to a lot of Alamo Heights which has lovely shopping and excellent restaurants. It is affordable and clean and adjacent to my favored parts of the city. Those seeking closeness to the SA most famous attractions might find it remote”

“Breakfast was good. They also had dinner. You got 3 free drinks. You want to get room in back due to noise from road construction. ”

“The booking process was easy and smooth, great price! The location was a little suspect but not bad. Be prepared for the neighbors above to stomp on your heads all night lol, there was no communication from owners after the first text of asking when I would arrive. There weren’t any face towels provided, the home looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, with a lot of dust and the large bedroom sheet had stains, OUTSIDE of all of these things the stay was not bad at all, no one bothered us...

“Smells old! There were nats around the continental breakfast area and area felt unsafe. Homeless people hanging around the parking lot! And on top of that they charge you for parking at your own risk! Make no sense!”
