“The overall vibe of the hotel is kind of lived in and quiet. It definitely needs a little update here and there while still being able to preserve the aesthetic of Japan culture and touches. There was only one other guest staying but for some reason it showed as completely booked out. Unfortunately, the showers and onsen has select opening times so you couldn't shower either in the morning or evening, it was one of those times and can't remember but that was slightly inconvenient. “Absolutely fantastic. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were very warm and kind and made my stay very comfortable. My Japanese is very limited, but they took the time to carefully explain things for me at a level I could understand, including the food. If you can get out to Tsunan (and the train there was quite scenic, so do try), I really can't recommend it enough. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.”

“It was great experience staying at this place. Right after we went to gala Yuzawa ski came back to the hotel and dipped ourselves into the large Ofuro in the basement. Smoking was not allowed inside or well outside the house so it was the only problem me and my friends faced during the stay but all in all we enjoyed our stay at the place. Place is warm and cozy. Recommend for friends and family or in groups over 5 people. ”

“温泉の露天が茶室の様な仕様と、和室からホタルが舞っているように見える寝湯がとても良かった。サウナもあるが水風呂はなかった。客室は広くてキレイでとても良かったが、4人宿泊で洗面のコッブが2つしか無かった。素泊まりだったせいか湯沸かしポットが無くて残念だったが総じて満足。”
