Buona posizione ma troppe cose non funzionavano: dal phon , la tv , le tessere delle chiavi che si smagnetizzavano ogni giorno.

This hotel is clearly outdated. The tiles in the room were cracked and stained, the tub was cracked and peeling, the shower sang every time you turned the water on, the toilet ran on and on, even after jiggling the handle, the staff barely speak to you unless you speak first (this includes staff in the dining area, front desk, cleaning lady, pool guy, and at the bar), the food tastes like it was sitting in the freezer for months, defrosted in the microwave and served, the "security key card box" to get to the rooms area is pointless because the door to the rooms is kept ajar or unlocked anyway, the balcony door required extra strength in arms and legs to push open...The best thing about this place is that it is on the beach but nothing about the actual property would make you want to stay. It's the kind of place you go if you know you'll be out all day and even with that, still not sure what's worth staying here.

There was nothing to be liked about the property except it’s central location . I had to leave the property to find another place to stay . There is no way the property should be open to guest it’s is absolutely disgusting

Not happy with the front gate security
The guest services was great thumbs up to all the workers. But I have a issue with the security guard at the game. So of them is polite and act professional but twice I had to deal with one of the guard at the front game on it was a pleasant experience. He wasn’t professional at all he don’t know how to treat people. For God sake am paying my money to say at this hotel just to be in a argument with a guard. He ask me my name my room number and at the same time after I answer his questions he still ask me if am a guess at the hotel. I turn to him on said if you know what your job is suppose to be then you would asked that question because clearly am wearing a wrist band for that hotel. I stay at the hotel before more than once but I don’t think I’ll stay there again. I even recommended my friend to stay there for the vacation and they was staying there just came back last night and they told me they will never stay there again because the security guard at the front was very rude to there taxi driver while they where in the car on told them the (guest) to get out the car and walk the rest of the way to the hotel because he’s not allowing the driver to go on the property. All this is wrong the first person the guest sees when they arrived is the guard at the gate so they should be more respectful and have a better understanding on how to deal with people.

It was not all inclusive... also the room was disgusting. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat.. and huge stains on the couch in the room. It looked old and smelled terrible.

The location of the property is what led me to book despite the poor ratings. It was just a place to sleep and shower not to spend a bulk of my time. If that is what you are looking for the super luxurious Moon Palace is right next door book your stay there. The facility is very old and run down. The beach is not private and the restaurant has a meager menu. There are a plethora of restaurants outside the gates of the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The room and furniture were old and appeared creepy. The whole place needed a face lift. The bathroom appeared dirty and when I mentioned to the head house keeper that the bathroom had not been cleaned she said that it had and it is just because the place is old and needed a face lift.

My Stay at Rooms on the Beach, Ochio Rios
We had a lovely time. The young ladies at reception was very helpful and pleasant. The beach is right there. Our room and other surroundings was clean and tidy. Food was really nice but find it a little expensive as the price you see is not. GCT and service charge is then added. Overall had a wonderful 4 days. Would definitely go there again and recommend to anyone.

We have stayed at this hotel over the years but you haven’t done much upkeep. This year we noticed it has gone down hill. The rooms are disgusting, the room phone had a gross substance on it the curtains look like 30 years old never washed, the bathroom which my 10 year old said was not clean was not welcoming. The bathroom was very old and it not clean, the safe in the closest in the bathroom was like a wood case and didn’t even have the lock to it actually looked like something ripped it out. The lady at the front desk didn’t even explain the continental breakfast. The pillows we got we the most pathetic pillows I’ve seen they were so flat that we layer on the bed and it was as if we weren’t laying on anything. I called at 11pm as I couldn’t sleep and needed more pillows the front last said sorry housekeeping is closed, I couldn’t believe it. We were to stay Monday to Friday and we needed up leaving Tuesday and didn’t return. Now listen we are not picking bougie people but we do expect respect from staff a clean bed and room and that is not what we experienced. I would take your kids here but if you want a cheap hotel you and your partner to lay your head down after doing excursions all day or partying then this place would be good for you.

The security door was broken, our room door had to be recalibrated so we didn’t have access to the room. A staff had to use a key to let us in.

The pool person was the most polite, hard worker, very much aware of the guest needs. Everyone else would smile in your face but never solved the problems. The always had an excuse. Breakfast wasn't a real breakfast it was a small Continental breakfast they brought to you.( 1/4 c. Of cereal, juice w/ Lots of ice, 1slice of bread, butter and jelly only if you asked. Tea or coffee that wasn't hot 90% of the time. Rooms were out dated, furniture falling apart, water dripping in bathroom alright and nothing done when reported. King mattress was flat and pillows were also. On the other side, queen mattress looked better. It rained most of our time and the drains were cloded up and the water had no were to go on the property. You had to walk through slot of water. Guess who won't be back. Oh outside appears to look good but inside, looks like a truck stop motel.

The pictures do not represent the hotel rooms,the rooms are outdated and the the fact that they had a jvc old style tv that barely showed a picture was telling enough. The bathroom tub was chipped and facet was loose. I went to the front desk with the pictures of the hotel that I had on my phone and asked her to show me a room like in the picture she told me there was none like that. An upgrade would be in order and they would have a top notch place. All in all just being on the beach on vacation was wonderful and me and my son came for Rebel salute so we did'nt spend much time in our rooms

It is right on the beach. The external ground is well taken care of. In it's heyday it was a beautiful place to vacation but it is now showing signs of financial lacking. If you are on a tight budget and not caring much for staying in doors, it's name said it all, Rooms on the beach. Best place to see the cruise ships in the background of your holiday's collection. Just grab a beach chair and some ice cold juice and enjoy your Vitamin D listening to some reggae music courtesy of the smiling bar staff. I certainly did 😅. Thank you staff for caring💐

The property is located near the beach, the room is ok for the price so lack of updates are forgiven. However, the website stated all meals included, hence my booking. When I arrived, it was continental breakfast only. This was very poor and is not what we have on the continent. There were no pastries and it was disappointing and should not be described as 'continental'. Restaurant staff were polite. However, reception staff were not impolite but lacked the motivation in putting the customer first and were somewhat lacklustre. I had to ask about the spa for example. It was not forthcoming, nor was how to access towels and loungers for the beach. I also had to ask about check-out times. This plus other information should be provided by reception on check in. This information should also be in the room along with TV channel information and local amenities such as bureau de change, shops, etc.

This property is so run down it needs a upgrade, some of the staff was nice, friendly and helpful. Others made it feel like I was asking for the moon. I Was disappointed that I requested 2 double bed but ended up with 3 single beds, which were all different heights so they couldn't even be pushed together properly. A few mornings there wasn't enough beach towels for anyone

This property is in need of a total remodel. The workers were not friendly at all. The door keys barely worked and when we asked for help they blew us off. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend this hotel to anyone..

The staff was pleasant helpful but the hotel was filthy. Bathroom was not in good working conditions. The bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was a disaster had to wait for an hoir for a cup of coffee. Not very good will not return to that hotel.

Terrible Stay!
The rooms are outdated, and needs a serious revamp. Wi-fi only works in the lobby for some reason you'll be lucky if it works in your room. The room was freezing and we had a hard time getting it to warm up. The floor tiles was always wet due to the air conditioner not functioning properly. I realized soon that it was so cold because if you didn’t run the a/c, the whole room would be terribly humid and smelly. The pool was very small, and the public beach next to the hotel was always crowded and often left dirty at night. They advertise a continental breakfast. It’s not actually continental since they don’t leave anything out. They bring you a little tray with either a tiny bowl of Corn Flakes or Frosted Flakes, a slice of bread, a tiny piece of slice watermelon, a small amount of jelly, and half of glass of juice without ice, due to the fact that they often run out of ice. Some days you'll be very lucky if you received that much. Bottom line, I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. I had to speak to management for a room change because of mold in bathtub and sink. This is definitely the worst hotel I have stayed at. Never again. I sincerely hope this helps others know to avoid this terrible hotel.
