Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.”

“This was our fourth time at the Pavilion on Northbourne. It’s one of our favourite hotels. The staff are friendly & helpful. “We stayed 1 night in a Family room (2x adults & 2x teenages) and my parents in a separate room, it was excellent. Comfy beds and pillows, it was clean and spacious perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fact that parking was included in the price (as we had 2 cars) was the reason for choosing the Brassey. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others.”
