“Overall good staff! Some of the front desk staff could not answer questions about hotel amenities and local services. The weekday breakfast staff Wednesday-Sunday was amazing she was knowledgeable and was able to share what to do with us around the area and downtown!!! Information about the downtown shuttle wasn’t shared with us, we found out when it showed up for others! It was an amazing service that should be shared with all guests!! We used it everyday once we knew about it!!!”

“No hot in bathroom sink, stayed 5 nights and got maid service once. The tv cable service has 4 channels to watch. Continual breakfast consists of cold cereal and over ripe fruit.. if you like the motel 6 experience this is for you. I don't understand why Hilton would want their name connected to this property. Can recommend this property to anyone.”

“This is a basic hotel, my room was spacious and well equipped, wifi was stable and fast, the gym was small but well equipped and well maintained. There is virtually no breakfast with no options or choices, very very limited. Literally overpriced”

“The staff was very friendly especially the kitchen staff. Very kind people. The room was nice but does have the world’s smallest bathroom. I have had bigger bathrooms in New York City or on cruise ships. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was decent. I was surprised at how good the breakfast was so thank you for that! We did go down for late night snacks to find they didn’t have any snacks that we liked which I found unusual. Overall decent stay and will do fine for short stays.”

“We recently stayed in the Hideaway, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our visit. The entire property is gorgeous. The staff is courteous, and the breakfast is amazing! The history of the home and allure is second to none. The grounds were beautifully manicured and you are close to several restaurants. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. The only drawback is that the mansion resides very close to a busy intersection and with that comes some noise. ”

“Room was beautiful, elegant, and cozy. Breakfast was simple yet high quality. Bathtub was luxurious. Jazz was incredible. And it's situated in the perfect spot to walk to dinner, drinks, and coffee. We sipped bubbly from the porch and drank in the relaxed atmosphere. Been dreaming of a stay here for over 7 years--it did not disappoint! Can't wait till next time! ”

“We were on a drive back from PCB, FL to west Michigan and needed a late night hotel that could also take a cat. We were able to check in at 1am and greeted by the front desk. Overall it was a great hotel, breakfast was good, and they even had toothpaste packets (because I forgot toothpaste😩). Will for sure stay here again!”
