“So first I want to sum up my first experience walking in the Drury on Poydras. Felt like I was coming home. I have been a loyal Marriott, Hilton and Holiday inn customer and can't say that I ever felt this way after walking into one of their properties. SO here is the why for the above. Parking is flexible. The front desk folks said "If you have a reservation you can park early and leave late. Free near premium drinks and appetizers at 5PM. NOLA free stuff, really? “The concierge “butler” Shawn was helpful and pleasant and always available. He was a 10/10. The room could use a deep clean. Bathrooms and linens and all were spotless. Just the floor and carpet need a deep clean, not the daily staff fault. The pool and courtyards were charming and of another era. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Location is excellent too. ”

“Staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, especially Michael!!Check in and check out process was extremely easy. We loved the virtual check in option! The location could not be any better! Just a couple minutes to walk down Bourbon Street, and just a few minutes to all major attractions in NOLA! The room was extremely spacious and truly better than we could ever imagine! 100% will be back with all of our friends and family!!”

“Nice hotel for the area, but I wasn’t thrilled with the rooms based on the price I paid. The bathrooms have a sliding door with no privacy—you can see through the sides and basically see everything—and there’s only one small towel holder. The staff was great, and it’s super easy access to Canal St; Bourbon St is within walking distance. Overall, nice lobby, but I feel like I overpaid. ”
