“Shabby Chic, beautiful location. Needs a major overhaul as the bathrooms have quite a bit of mildew and rust, be prepared for an ewww factor. Everything needs paint. Pool was lovely and you can’t beat the beautiful view of the ocean with birds, dolphins and surfers. ”

“It’s a fun hip hotel, not a modern hotel. The bed was very comfortable, I slept like a baby. Room was clean, wish it had a coffee maker (they did have an electric tea kettle with instant coffee for purchase and coffe in the lobby for free after 8 am, but I wake up early) it had a hot tub in the room too but didn’t have time to use it…. Next time! ”

“Il Coast Village Inn si trova in una via poco trafficata e molto gradevole, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia pubblica e da alcuni graziosi locali. A cinque minuti di auto invece si raggiunge State Street per un po' di vita notturna. La camera era molto bella, il letto comodissimo e il tutto molto funzionale. La piscina ci ha permesso di fare ancora un piccolo tuffo dopo il pomeriggio in spiaggia. Assolutamente consigliato!”

“I was very happy with the staff, which was very accommodating to my special needs. I originally chose #2 but the bed was VERY firm, and being disabled with a back injury, I wouldn’t have made it through the night without extreme pain. She researched which trailer I stayed in and it so happened to be empty, so she let us switch trailers! I slept like a baby! :)”

“The main restaurant and the older part of the hotel are closed for renovation. Only a small temporary restaurant is open, and only for breakfast. Beautiful gardens. Nice setting near the beach and pier. A bit noisy due to being by the freeway.”

“I'm giving this place five stars because for the price it was fine, it is however a really cheap surfer or worker motel. Good water pressure for shower. I assumed the bed would be really squeaky and uncomfortable as I pulled up to the place but it actually wasn't bad. There was a really overwhelming smell of fabuloso in the room which will keepe from ever coming here again. 5 stars for the price is being a bit generous. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Montecito Inn in the Tower Suite. The room was unique and charming, with two levels that made it feel more like a little apartment than a standard hotel room. The bedroom and bathroom are on different levels, so you do have to go up and down stairs, but if that is not an issue for you, it actually adds to the character and fun of the space. The location was great, the accommodations were comfortable, and we would happily stay there again.”
