“Room was clean and spacious. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Cookies in afternoon were delicious. Black out blinds were great.”

“We really enjoyed the unique spaces and additions like pool, games room, and complimentary slushy machine/chocolates in the rooms/rubber ducky. The rooms smelled nice and clean upon entry. We enjoyed the laminate floors in the rooms rather than all carpet. Everyone at the desk was very helpful and kind. Overall a wonderful stay.”

“We arrived and ask if possible could we check in early, the lady at the desk was not great with customer service. Without saying anything to us she called someone and then I hung, nothing, I ask was it possible to check in early? She responded no and check in is not until 3 Angila. I found this comment was unnecessary. This was the only issue we had and we did not contact front desk for anything else including checking out.”

“On arrival we asked about the hot tub and pool, if they were working. Confirmed that both were available. When we got to the pool it was closed for repairs.”

“our stay was for 2 nights. This hotel is in a great location, it's clean, well maintained and the room was bigger then expected and very quiet, there is no pool. The breakfast was great, lots to eat and they actually had bacon. Staff is so helpful. Marilyn in the resturant is such a nice lady and we had a great conversation with her. Food was perfect there. She also was in the breakfast room serving on her day off since someone called in sick. We would definatly return to the Royal if we are...

“A clean, well maintained hotel and room. The bed was very comfy. The heat/a/c unit did not work and someone was smoking dope in the hotel which came through the ventilation system.”

“The hotel was advertised as having a pool but was closed for the entire 4 nights that we stayed there. When we first checked in they said the pool would be open the next day. This was not true as the pool never opened. If I had know there was not going to be a pool I would have booked somewhere else.”

“One of the female employees there was raising her voice at customers. This morning, she approached us aggressively and used offensive language toward us. I had brought five friends with me, and we had rented three rooms. Because of this situation, we canceled all three rooms and checked out. You need to warn your staff and ensure they treat customers respectfully.”

“The owners communicated with us very effectively. The suite is comfortable for five people, although one of the beds is sleeping on the couch. However, I thought the couch was quite comfortable. This is a great suite for a short day when all you need is a clean and comfortable place to sleep. Very conveniently located close to West Edmonton Mall. I would stay here again.”
