“The room was lovely, with a nice private terrace. Guesthouse Fortyfour is in the middle of the walled city, so it was a busy area with loud music from a nearby bar at night. “Perfect location! Very comfortable bed. Everything we could possibly need for our stay. We picked it because it was right in the heart of old town. That said, it’s right in the heart of old town so you can hear a lot of happy people having a good time until quite late. Stay here anyway and bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. ”

“It has got the great location within the old town, only a few meters away frm the entry of the city walls. The host Dubravka met us during the check in, provided a lot of information regarding where to eat, shopping, attractions. We have had a great experience in Dubrovnik. ”

“Excellent location right inside the old city. Easy walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and more. Check-in happens at a coffee shop outside Ploce Gate, so be prepared to walk 8 mins to the hotel. Fairly easy walk, but cobbled streets. Inside, the property, rooms and decorations are immaculate and beautiful. No elevator, so a fair bit of stair climbing. Minor point: safe wasn't functioning in my room due to previous guests leaving it locked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. John...
