“Very nice property in a great location in the center of a very welcoming little town. Room was small, but had all conveniences and then some. In-house restaurant was excellent. Breakfast does not start until 8:30, not convenient for travelers getting an early start.”

“There were drunk loud people in the room right under us. They kept us awake, we asked them nicely to be quiet. But it didn't change, so I called down to the front desk. She said she was familiar with the guys in the room and would talk to them. She did and they were quiet. The walls are very thin in the rooms, you can hear what everyone on each side of you is doing and saying. It needs insulation. It would be nice if they served a continental breakfast. “just a fun, funky little town - the union hotel goes way back - would love to have seen it in its hey day! and if you can get a room (only 2 of 4) with direct balcony access even better (but you can access the balcony from the hallway for the other 2 rooms) - homemade breakfast (you get a selection) is - well - special - as is the super cool lady who does it all: hostess, waitress, busser - and most importantly - *chef*!! she's remarkable! want to go back on a friday to experience some of their...

“In town for a concert at the winery and booked this place online. I arrived early around Noon, the front desk lady said my room wouldn't be ready until after 3 but checked me in and gave me a key to come back anytime after 3 and go directly to my room. I greatly appreciated this. So i went exploring the town for a few hours made it back at 3 and went directly to my room. Very spacious with a mini fridge and microwave.”

“Ich habe kein Verständnis dafür, wie man diesem Motel weniger als eine 10/10 geben kann. Dieses Motel es super sauber. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal war total nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und toll eingerichtet mit einem sehr großen Bad. Der Pool ist okay. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und können es hier nur jedem ans Herz legen. Vielen Dank 🙏 ”

“Here with three friends for girls getaway. Love the property, close proximity to town, walkability, parking. Loved the grounds. No full length mirrors in room, nor hangars for clothing. Because part of the building is from the 1800's, the renovations have "piped in air-con" with was through a vent in the window, but it did work.”

“We loved our stay at The Hanford House. The rooms are very nice, clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The added morning delivery of fresh baked scones to your door with fresh coffee is such a well thought out addition. We will definitely stay here everytime we visit our family in Sutter Creek!”
