“When we showed up there was a for sale sign on the sign at the entrance and nobody in the office. I had to call a phone number that was on the door to check in. They had to open our door remotely which I felt was not safe. We had an upstairs room, where we had to climb up unsafe stairs with metal plates in two spots to support the broken slats you walked on. The railing going up the stairs was wobbly and made us feel uncomfortable. Both my wife and I are in our mid 70’s and had a hard time with...

“This was a great little spot. It had a beautiful pool on the hillside, where I took my complimentary coffee and breakfast, and the room was super clean. It must have been remodeled recently, and they did a great job. None of the hallmark bad paint lines or any of that stuff you often see in a budget motel. I'd say it was great for the price, but that makes it sound like it was nice for an inexpensive motel. It was just really nice place.”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have to be gluten free so the breakfast variety was excellent. Lots for everyone to choose from. The only thing I felt they needed to improve was the cleanliness of the pool and outside area. Water looked clean but algae could be seen on the walls of pool and hot tub.”

“We loved this resort! The rooms are huge and new. There is more than one restaurant where to eat; it was a good base to go to Yosemite from San Francisco. Very good value for money because the room was really really nice.”

By the main elevators, there were multiple boards with various recommendations for restaurants, hiking trails, places to visit/go, etc. The staff was nice and full of recommendations as well. The gym was small but has everything you need even a peloton, so bring your shoes.”

“Jamestown è praticamente una strada deliziosamente retrò. Il Motel è in una traversa della main street, all'angolo di un saloon del 1862. “Camera bella e pulita. Piscina con sdraio e ombrelloni. Colazione buona (cereali, pane tostato, succhi vari, caffè, macchinetta per waffle) in ampia sala dedicata (peccato per l'aria condizionata un po' troppo alta). Siamo stati molto bene. ”

“Where can you see a hotel that charges another extra fees if you request for a late check out, it's not like super late check, most hotel they allowed guest to check out at noon w/o additional charges, this hotel is charging $25+tax just to request an extra hour from the original check out time. Also my beddings has a blood stain which is disgusting, the bed is worn out they should at least change their bed, it's sinking down when you sat on it what more when you lay down, it hurts my back.”
