“This motel needs heavy remodeling. It shouldn't advertise breakfast included because it was just waffle, cereal and coffee (no coffee maker in the room). After hours, it has a video concierge that makes solving issues more complicated.”

“We had an INCREDIBLE time!! We knew nothing about Basswood prior to arriving. The staff was amazing, Laura took care of us with a very specific scenario we hadn't anticipated and we are so grateful for her! Our cabin was awesome. The playgrounds were perfect for the kids. The front office / general store had so many cool things for souvenirs and to eat. The pizza was SO GOOD!! “We didn't stay because the pool was closed becausw the health department closed it and that was the whole reason for the room. The guy said he wouldn't check me in and the money would be refunded. That has yet to happen. Would not recommend.”

“Our room had ants around the refrigerator area, and the shower heads are made for people under 5ft. If you're over 5ft you have to bend down to wash your hair. The pool area was poorly maintained and the water had bugs and other items floating in it, even what appeared to be someone's spit. Also, the $17 breakfast buffet is mediocre and should not be that much for other areas that offer complimentary breakfast.”

“Hotel needs an upgrade but its an OK place to stay for airport travel. I don’t know that I would’ve stayed there as a single woman. There is a shuttle and the charge is $7/day to leave car. We flew too early to get breakfast.”
