“We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. There is a fascinating park opposite with geothermal features and a hot water foot bath. We enjoyed visits to Whakarewaewa Maori village and Waiotapu, both excellent. There were lots of other things nearby to see and do in Rotorua, we felt the property location was good for everything.”

“The deluxe double room was big, comfortable and clean. The corridors, room and lift seemed like they were new. A good shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Excellent location for the Skyline Gondola and zip wire etc - just walking distance. But need to drive into the centre of Rotorua. Parking was no problem because there's a bottle store and dairy next door and which have parking when parking at the hotel was full.”

“Room was recently renovated, and was spotless. Bathroom was clean and kitchenette had everything you need for preparing your own meals. Staff at front desk was extremely helpful! Would definitely stay again!”

“Clean, comfortable, quiet. This place smells very strongly of rotten eggs, like all of Rotorua, so if that's a deterrent, I may suggest not staying anywhere in Rotorua. That said, while there are aspects of this hotel that are quite dated (like the reception area), it's clear they've put some money into upkeep (like with the hotel stairs and the individual rooms). It's not a 5 star hotel (no view, no pool/gym, limited reception hours, etc.) but for the money you pay and the type of hotel/motel...

“Great place to stay. The room was nice, clean and private. We had a unit with a private bathroom. The staff were very friendly. The place was excellent. A few more hooks for cloths and places to put luggage would have been useful. But overall great stay”

“Loved the heated pool and spa area (there are two spa pools) it was PERFECT for our kids - 3 year old and two 8 month olds. This is definitely family friendly. It is further away from all the main shops in town (I like being able to walk to places for dinner) but it is still very close by car, only 5 mins. When we wanted to just chill after a big day out we took the toddler on one of the two trampolines and also played on the swings. Nigh swims with the kids and then into the spa pool really...

“Great stay. Kitchen is well stocked. Hot tub and a bbq were great bonuses. It was quiet and dark at night. Beds were both comfy and bathroom was great. Laundry was great. Would recommend.”
